Hebridean History - 101AD - 200AD


While elsewhere the Romans had built the Antonine Wall across the neck of southern Scotland to keep out the "barbarous" Picts from the northern limit of the Empire, nobody it seems from that era went north to find out about the Hebrideans. The people here at that time had no written culture and hence early in the Common Era, we know absolutely nothing about the people living in this part of Scotland.
